If you’ve noticed fewer full comic-style episodes lately, don’t worry, the cats have not been fired. (They’re actually very difficult to fire.)
L&TC has been posting plenty of chaos, but lately you’ve probably seen more quick jokes, one-panels, Daily Mew stories and smaller posts while I’ve been spending a lot of time behind the scenes building some bigger pieces of the Kingdom.
Some of those pieces are ready to talk about. Some are still hiding behind a very firmly closed door.
The Royal Mewsletter is officially underway, with two different publications for subscribers: The Royal Dispatch, covering what’s happening in the Kingdom, and The Royal Insider, taking you behind it. The first Insider is currently being put together, complete with things you probably weren’t supposed to know.
The Daily Mew is growing too and if you enjoy getting your cat news directly from the source, you can subscribe separately to have new issues delivered to you.
Over in the shop, Meowtown Records has officially arrived, bringing The Sound of Cats at 3 A.M. to a shirt near you.
And there’s more coming. InstaCatBook is on the way, alongside a few other projects that I’m not quite ready to pull the curtain back on yet. 👀
Meanwhile, BK, Luna and Ziggy will continue doing what they do best: creating
problems faster than I can turn them into comics.
So no, the comics aren’t going anywhere.
We’re just building a bigger Kingdom around them.
