Repeated tail strikes interrupt afternoon nap; final blow lands directly on victim’s face
CANVAS & CHORDS STREETS — What began as a peaceful afternoon nap ended in yet another boundary dispute Tuesday after a local cat was repeatedly struck by the tail of a sleeping neighbor.
Luna said she had been asleep nearby when Ziggy's tail began entering her personal space at regular intervals.

“At first, I tried to ignore it,” Luna told The Daily Mew. “That was clearly a mistake.”
According to Luna, several tail strikes followed before she finally turned around to identify the source of the disturbance.
She was immediately hit in the face.
Witnesses confirmed that Ziggy remained asleep throughout the incident, curled comfortably against BK and apparently unaware that his tail had become the subject of an active investigation.
[Editor’s Note: He really was asleep.]
When informed of the allegations later, Ziggy reportedly showed little understanding of the seriousness of the situation.
Luna has since reiterated that her personal space extends to all parts of her body, including her face, and that being unconscious does not exempt other residents from respecting established boundaries.
BK declined to comment.
At press time, Luna was considering whether future violations would be handled through official channels or directly.
