Local trio signs on for a series of Meowtown Records productions; first video, “My Treats,” out now
CANVAS & CHORDS — Looney & The Coons™ is headed to the small screen after landing a deal to appear in a new series of mewsic videos produced by Meowtown Records for CAT TV.
The trio confirmed the agreement this week, though their individual reasons for accepting
appear to differ considerably.
“The world deserves me,” BK said.
Ziggy confirmed that the compensation package includes treats.
“Good treats,” he added.
Luna reportedly agreed after learning BK and Ziggy had already accepted.
“Someone has to make sure they don't screw it up.”
Viewers didn't have to wait long to see how that arrangement would work in practice.
L&TC's™ first mewsic video, “My Treats,” has officially debuted on CAT TV, featuring the trio putting their own spin on The Temptations....with Ziggy taking a particularly committed approach to the title.
