Witnesses confirm autumn remains undefeated
CANVAS & CHORDS — What began as a routine celebration of the changing seasons ended in a predictable gravitational event Wednesday when local Maine Coon Ziggy attempted to participate in the annual falling of the leaves.
Witnesses report that the leaves performed as expected.
Ziggy did too.
“I thought fall was more of a theme,” Ziggy said following the incident. “Nobody explained that participation was mandatory.”
The event occurred near a tree displaying a clearly posted “GRAVITY STILL WINNING” warning, raising questions about whether Ziggy had adequately reviewed available safety information before becoming airborne.
King BK declined to call the incident surprising.
“He has a history,” BK said.
Luna was reportedly less interested in the investigation.
“The leaves are supposed to fall,” she said. “He is not.”
Authorities confirmed that no leaves were injured during the incident.
Ziggy's dignity remains under observation.
